Rammed Earth - the decorative option

Alastair Armstrong is building a "decorative rammed-earth" house in Northriding.  This is an architect's house and he is determined to go green-greener-greenest, with solar power and all the alternative stuff.  The place is in a lovely part of Northriding, with indigenous bush and trees which he wants to disturb as little as possible.
Rammed earth - in this case soil stabilised with cement - was used for the Great Wall of China, built 3 000 years ago. (Sounds like a sturdy option to use for building...).

You are invited to see this process - and maybe put a hand in!
